In November, students voted on 10 cover designs and the winning theme for this year is: “Razzle Dazzle”. Early Bird sales began in Dec at $15.00 / $18.00 (with cover picture &  name). Anyone who missed the sales can still purchase until March 1st. at $20.00 per book or $23.00 with Cover Picture & Name.

The CCES yearbook is 64 pages filled with School Portraits (students & staff), Activity Photos, Special Events, Business Sponsors and Collages.

 

 

 

 

 

It also has  ”Zoom” pages that announce the popular events and trends of 2011-2012 (from around the world!)

CJ’s Pizza Cards

For the past 3 years, CCES students have been given the opportunity to sell CJ’s Pizza Cards. Since lasts year’s cards expire at the end of January, we will begin to sell the new cards from January 23rd through February 6th. Students are to collect $8.00 for each card they sell. Once their order form and money is turned into the school, CJ’s cards will be distributed for delivery. CCES recieves the full $8.00 from each sale.

With each Large Pizza purchased, the card holder will receive a free medium (1 topping) pizza. The cards can be used up to 15 times. They will expire January 2013.

Attention 5th Grade Students: For every card you sell, the entire $8.00 will go towards your 5th Grade trip to Washington DC!

FYI: In January 2010 we sold 162 cards and raised $1296.  The top selling class was the fifth grade who sold 44 cards.  They received a Pizza Party and, of the $1296 raised, $352 was reserved for the fifth grade trip.

Halloween Committee Meeting- Oct. 17

The next planning meeting for the Halloween Carnival Committee will be held on Monday Oct. 17th at 5:45. We are hoping to get as many Homeroom Parents at this meeting as possible, to  get all classrooms informed on game assignments.  Anyone wishing to help and be part of our Carnival (on Nov. 5th from 6-8 PM), please plan to attend.

Halloween Carnival- Update

Update 9/14/11 – The Carnival date has changed from Oct. 22 to Nov. 5th. The next Committee Meeting is Sept. 28th at 5:30.

At the Sept. 6th meeting, it was announced that we will be having a Halloween Carnival on Sat. Oct. 22nd. The time frame for the carnival will be determined at the first Committee meeting on Wednesday Sept. 14 at 5:30. Please join us to help plan this fun event for our students.
