Welcome to the wonderful world of first grade.  I hope to make this a great year for your child.  Below I have tried to list what you can expect during the school year.

Consequences for Breaking Rules

Reminded, Loss of some Recess, Head Down, Time Out, Note Home, Visit Principal, Call Home

HOMEWORK

Read your story daily.  Have parents sign signature card after reading.  Return your red folder daily.

Study spelling words daily.  Tests will generally be on Friday. 

Homework will be listed weekly on the newsletter located in the front of your child’s red folder.
